Holoul Technology ("we", "our", "us") operates the Holoul Connect mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.

The App is a utility tool designed to help ISP operators link and configure MikroTik hotspot devices with the Holoul Connect platform. The App does not require user registration or login, and does not collect personal data such as email addresses, names, or passwords.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

The App collects minimal information necessary to perform its core functions:

2.1 Device Information (MikroTik)

• MikroTik device IP address and API port discovered on the local network
• Device identity and system information (model, version) retrieved during connection
• MikroTik device credentials entered by you to establish a connection

This information is stored locally on your device only and is not transmitted to our servers except during the device linking process.

2.2 QR Code Data

• Linking tokens scanned from QR codes generated by the Holoul Connect web platform

2.3 What We Do NOT Collect

• Email addresses or personal contact information
• User accounts, usernames, or passwords for the App itself
• Location data (GPS)
• Contacts, photos, or files from your phone
• Analytics, advertising identifiers, or tracking data

The App requests the following device permissions:

• Camera: Used solely for scanning QR codes to link MikroTik devices to the platform. No photos or videos are captured or stored.
• Local Network / WiFi: Used to scan the local network and discover MikroTik devices by checking common API ports.
• Internet: Required to communicate with the Holoul Connect server during the device linking process.

These permissions are used only for the stated purposes and can be revoked at any time through your device settings.

The information processed by the App is used exclusively to:

• Discover MikroTik devices on your local network
• Establish a connection to your MikroTik device
• Validate QR code linking tokens with the Holoul Connect server
• Register and link your MikroTik device to the Holoul Connect platform
• Retrieve VPN configuration for secure device communication

MikroTik device credentials you enter are stored locally on your device and are not persisted on our servers. During the device linking process, device information is transmitted securely via HTTPS to our servers.

We implement security measures including:

• HTTPS/SSL encryption for all network communication
• Temporary linking tokens that expire after use
• No persistent storage of sensitive credentials on our servers

We do not sell, trade, share, or rent any information to third parties. Device information is only transmitted to the Holoul Connect server that you are linking your device to. No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs are used in the App.

The App is a professional utility tool intended for ISP operators and network administrators. It is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
